Privacy Policy
A plain-language summary of the information used to operate Easy WP Migration.
Easy WP Migration processes limited information needed to provide the website, licensing, support and optional connected services. Migration archives and direct site transfers are not routed through an Easy WP Migration relay service.
Information we process
- Purchases and billing: Paddle acts as merchant of record and processes customer identity, payment, tax and invoice information under its own privacy terms.
- Licensing: license key, site URL, activation status and plugin version when a site activates Pro or checks for eligible updates.
- Support: contact details and the technical information you choose to include in a support request.
- Optional usage heartbeat: site URL, WordPress/PHP/plugin versions and free or Pro status. This can be disabled in Easy WP Migration settings.
- Connected storage: temporary authorization data may pass through an OAuth connection service; long-lived refresh credentials remain on your WordPress site where supported.
- Affiliates: referral identifiers, cookies and commission records when someone participates in or arrives through the affiliate program.
How information is used
We use this information to complete purchases, validate entitlements, deliver updates, prevent abuse, respond to support requests and understand basic product compatibility. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and choices
License, transaction and activation records are retained while needed to provide the service and for reasonable accounting, support, security and fraud-prevention purposes. You can disable optional usage reporting in the plugin and request access, correction or deletion where applicable, subject to records we must retain.
Security and third parties
No online service can guarantee absolute security. We limit access to operational data and rely on service providers such as Paddle and hosting infrastructure where necessary to run the business. Their processing is governed by their own terms and policies.
