The primary promise
Easy WP Migration moves a complete WordPress site without a plugin-imposed archive-size cap, preserves progress when work is interrupted, and gives you evidence about whether a backup appears restorable.
Infrastructure still matters:Disk space, database capacity, filesystem permissions, networking, proxies and hosting-provider policies can still limit a migration. We do not market around those realities.

Pro assurance
Scheduled backups, off-site destinations, retention, recovery points, restore verification and full or selective Sync.
Agency workflows
Freelancer adds Remote Pull and WP-CLI. Agency adds explicit single-site and multisite movement tools.
Staging and Sync are separate
The free staging tool creates a noindexed clone in a subdirectory on the same server and shared database host. It does not push staging back to production. Pro Sync is a separate source-to-destination transfer workflow; it is not an automatic two-way merge.
Privacy and security model
- Migration archives do not need to pass through an Easy WP Migration relay server.
- Remote operations use authenticated, signed requests and validate server-side permissions and entitlements.
- Optional telemetry and diagnostic transmission are off by default.
- Cloud credentials remain on the WordPress site where the destination supports that model.
- Production restores should always begin with an independent current backup.
Compatibility and release checks
The current plugin declares WordPress 5.8 or later, is tested through WordPress 7.1, and declares PHP 7.2 or later. Release work includes source-package validation, PHP linting and targeted migration tests. Hosting combinations vary, so preflight checks and a verified backup remain part of a safe workflow.
Support, billing and refunds
Pro plans use site activations rather than per-migration usage. The annual list price stays the same at renewal while the subscription remains active.
